Kishtwar, DD, J&K Police District Kishtwar, under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar Sh. Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS, paid rich tributes to Shaheed Dy.SP Aman Thakur on the solemn occasion of his 6th martyrdom anniversary.
A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Martyrs Memorial at DPO Kishtwar, led by Addl. SP Kishtwar Sh. Pawan Kumar, SP (OPS) Sh. Nissar Khoja-JKPS, Dy.SP Hqrs Dr. Ishan Gupta-JKPS, SDPO Marwah Sh. Vijay Kumar, and other police officers and personnel.
On this occasion, SSP Kishtwar, in his message, recalled the exemplary courage and dedication of Shaheed Dy.SP Aman Thakur, highlighting his unwavering commitment to duty and his selfless sacrifice in the fight against terrorism. The late officer was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his extraordinary bravery and service to the nation.
