POLICE OBSERVES CONSTITUTION DAY AT DPO KATHUA

Kathua: DD, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma today organised pledge taking ceremony at the District Police Office Kathua alongwith its all police establishments, to commemorate Constitution Day.
The ceremony was attended by all police officers and officials, along with representatives from subordinate units.
The pledge, taken to uphold the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution, reaffirmed the commitment of the police personnel to protect and serve the nation.
The ceremony served as a reminder of the significance of the Constitution, which was adopted on November 26, 1949, and came into effect on January 26, 1950.


The event underscored the importance of upholding the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, as enshrined in the Constitution. It also highlighted the role of the police in maintaining law and order, protecting citizens’ rights, and promoting national unity.DD
