Kishtwar: DD, Continuing its efforts to extend services to the general public and redress their grievances, the Cyber Police Station Kishtwar had received various complaints regarding missing mobile phones from different individuals.
Acting promptly on these complaints, the Cyber Police Station Kishtwar, after hectic efforts and the use of advanced technical methods, successfully traced and recovered 52 lost mobile phones worth approximately Rs 10 lacs.
SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh-JKPS accompanied by Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar Dr. Ishan Gupta-JKPS handed over the recovered mobile phones to their legitimate owners.
He appealed to the general public to take utmost care of their mobile phones as these devices often contain important personal data, and any negligence could lead to its misuse.
On receiving their missing mobile phones, the owners expressed happiness and heartfelt gratitude towards District Kishtwar Police, especially to SSP Kishtwar, for their sincere and dedicated efforts in tracing their lost phones.
At the conclusion, SSP Kishtwar emphasized the importance of safeguarding mobile devices due to the sensitive information they often contain, underlining the potential risks associated with their misuse.
He urged the public to handle their phones responsibly to avoid any untoward incidents.
