Poonch, DD, In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing legal awareness, Poonch Police today organized an Awareness Programme on New Criminal Laws with Army personnel of 18 Jat B coy at Balakote.
The programme was conducted under the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch Sh Shafket Hussain-JKPS to ensure that security personnel remain well-informed about recent legal reforms.
During the session, IC PP Balakote provided an overview of India’s New Criminal Laws and highlighted key changes in the legal framework, emphasizing their impact on law enforcement and justice delivery.
The officers and personnel of Army actively participated in discussions and appreciated the initiative taken by Poonch Police. They expressed gratitude for the informative sessions and emphasized the need for more such awareness programmes in the future.
