Poonch,DD: Continuing its crackdown against drug peddling, Poonch Police has achieved another success by recovering a consignment of narcotics in the Mandi area.
Today, on 13/01/2025, a police party from Police Station Mandi was conducting a routine naka checking on Azmabad Road, Mandi, at around 1500 hours. During the operation, one individual, identified as Mohd Rafiq S/O Ghulam Qadar, resident of Chamber Kanari, Tehsil Mandi, was intercepted by the police. Upon his personal search, 105 grams of Charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.
Following this, a case FIR No. 03/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Mandi, and further investigation is underway.
