Post Operation Sindoor: Indian Army Extends Helping Hand to Locals in Poonch villages

Poonch: DD, With an aim to strengthen the bonhomie between Jawan and Awam, Indian Army reached out to the affected villagers in Khari Karmara village, Poonch to express solidarity and support.
The troops visited families whose houses and livelihoods were impacted during the operation, interacted with them to understand their immediate concerns and reassured them of continued assistance.


As part of the humanitarian outreach, essential ration packets were distributed among the affected households.
The Indian Army reaffirmed its commitment to stand by the local population during challenging times and work towards restoring normalcy in the region.
The locals expressed gratitude for the Army’s timely support and the interaction strengthened the bond of trust and cooperation between the security forces and the people.DD
