Leh: Under the ongoing ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ campaign, a Mimang–Si–sJabstogs (Administration at Your Doorstep) outreach camp was successfully organised at the Community Hall, Dasi Pema Centre, with the aim of enhancing public outreach and ensuring access to government services at the village level.

The camp was received by Nambardar Das Pema and Nambardar Upper Das Pema, who welcomed the Nodal Officer, Ruth Mary, AD FCS and CA Leh, along with officials from various departments.

Officers from Horticulture, Power Development, Health, Social Welfare, Public Health Engineering, Rural Development, Education, and other line departments participated in the camp. The officials interacted with villagers, disseminated information on departmental schemes, and facilitated service delivery while addressing public grievances on the spot.

The Nodal Officer apprised the public about the FCS and CA ration distribution system, including the ration supply schedule and the procedure for addition and deletion of members in ration cards.
She encouraged beneficiaries to avail the benefits of the programme and assured facilitation of genuine issues through the concerned department.

Kifayat Hussain, Manager, Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL), apprised the public about the DEA Fund initiative launched by RBI for settlement of unclaimed deposits.
He also shared information on the UDGAM Portal, Re-KYC procedures, cyber fraud prevention, self-employment schemes including PMEGP and PMFME, and social security schemes such as PMSBY and PMJJBY. On-the-spot assistance and linkages under various schemes were provided by CFL staff.

During the interaction, villagers appreciated the efforts of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department for the successful implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission in the area. They expressed satisfaction over the availability of safe and adequate drinking water, stating that the village has achieved 100 per cent household tap water connectivity.

During the camp, villagers submitted applications and grievances, which were duly received by the Nodal Officer with assurance of appropriate follow-up and redressal through the concerned departments.

The outreach programme witnessed active participation from the local community and officials, reaffirming the administration’s focus on accessible, responsive, and citizen-centric governance under the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ initiative.DD
