Public Transport Boost: JKSRTC Starts Paddar–Kishtwar Bus Route

Paddar, Kishtwar, DD; In a major boost to public transport in the remote region of Paddar, the Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) has started a direct bus service between Paddar and Kishtwar. The new service is expected to significantly improve mobility for residents, students, and traders, addressing long-standing transportation challenges.
Route Schedule & Fare Details:
Paddar to Kishtwar: Departs at 07:00 AM
Kishtwar to Paddar: Departs at 01:30 PM
Fare: ₹110 per passenger
The introduction of this bus service comes as a welcome relief for people who have long struggled with limited transportation options. With better connectivity, locals can now travel to Kishtwar more conveniently for work, education, and healthcare.

Residents have hailed the move, emphasizing that improved public transport will boost local trade and economic opportunities. Many are hopeful that authorities will introduce additional routes to further enhance regional connectivity.
