Akhnoor (Jammu),DD,Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while addressing the Armed Forces Veterans Day event in Akhnoor, delivered a powerful message on India’s unwavering claim over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He described PoK as an inseparable part of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that “J&K is incomplete without PoK.”

Singh lauded the Indian Army’s courage and resilience in defending the nation’s borders during wars like 1948, 1965, and subsequent conflicts. “Our brave soldiers have always given a befitting reply to Pakistan’s aggression,” he remarked, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty.

Highlighting the unity of the people in border areas, Singh praised the residents of Akhnoor, including the Muslim community, for standing firm against Pakistan’s divisive agenda and aggression over the years.

In a sharp critique of Pakistan’s continued support for terrorism, the Defence Minister said, “Terrorist launch pads in PoK are still active. For Pakistan, PoK has become no less than a foreign territory.” He also condemned recent provocative statements by PoK Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq, drawing parallels to the rhetoric once propagated by General Zia-ul-Haq(DD)
