RAJOURI: DD, In a continued effort to strengthen the bond between the police and the public Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Rajouri successfully concluded a Kabaddi Tournament at District Police Lines Rajouri.
The tournament which commenced on February 19, 2025 witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams across District Rajouri.
The final match held on March 1, 2025 was a thrilling contest between Jamola Kabaddi Club and Kotranka Kabaddi Club where Jamola Kabaddi Club emerged victorious with a commanding lead of 21 points.
Following the culmination of the final match Sh. Tejinder Singh IPS DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Headquarters Rajouri along with Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar IPS SSP Rajouri, Satish Kumar Dy.SP Headquarters Rajouri, Akshay Khajuria Dy.SP DAR Rajouri and Sh. Pawan Sharma Dy.SP Staff Officer RPHQ Rajouri honored the players for their dedication skill and perseverance.
Addressing the gathering Sh. Tejinder Singh, IPS emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit. He commended all participating teams and officials for their efforts in making the tournament a grand success.
The event concluded with the distribution of trophies, medals and cash prizes to both finalist teams. Words of appreciation were extended to all the participating teams and organizing officials for their invaluable contribution to the tournament’s success.
