Kishtwar, DD, In a bid to promote sports and community engagement in rural areas, the Rural Development Department (RDD) team in Marwah organized a thrilling snow valley ball tournament in Block Marwah.
The event, held under the guidance of Shabir Ahmed JKAS, BDO Marwah, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local teams. Dr. Mohd Ashraf JKAS, SDM Marwah graced the occasion as the chief guest, while other notable attendees included Sh. Mohit Gupta, JKAS Tehsildar Marwah, SHO Marwah, Executive Engineer PMGSY Marwah, and SDEO Marwah.
The tournament aimed to foster community spirit, promote physical fitness, and provide a platform for local talent to shine. The RDD team’s efforts to organize such events in rural areas demonstrate their commitment to holistic development and empowerment of marginalized communities.
The local youth hailed the efforts of RDD and demanded more sports events to be organised in this Area.DD
