Rehari police arrests thief, recovers stolen bike

Jammu,TDD, Police today claimed to have resolved the motorbike theft case with the arrest of its lifter and recovered the stolen bike in Rehari.
Police said that on 19-09-2024, a written complaint was lodged by Prittam Sharma, son of Suram Chand, resident of Jagir Gordi in Udhampur at present House number, 105, Lane number 7 Bhawani Nagar in Talab Tillo, Jammu that his motorcycle bullet bearing registration number JK14 – E – 7704 by some unidentified persons from Rehari Chungi.
On receiving the complaint, a case under FIR Number 112 of 2024 under section 303 (2) BNS was registered in Police Station Pacca Danga and accordingly, investigation was started.
To solve the case, a special team was constituted by SP City North to trace out the accused, led by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga and assisted by Incharge Police Post Reharim under the close supervision of SDPO City North Jammu did strenuous efforts.
With the help of various CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up two suspect namely Dheeraj Singh alias Kaka, son of Deepak Singh, resident of House Number 126 in Kanji House at Upper Gumat, Jammu at present, Gadar Galian Dhrav Miran Sahib and Happy Kumar alias Pappi, son of Babu Ram, resident of House Number 23 Chatha in Satwari upon whom disclosure, motorcycle bearing registration no JK14E-7704 has been recovered and seized in the instant case.
Further investigation of the case is going on.TDD
