Public Notice
In reference to the letter received from the General Manager (HOP), Nimoo Bazgo Power Station, Alchi, vide No. NH/NBPS/HM/2025-26/320, dated 23.05.2025, it is hereby informed that the mandatory reservoir flushing of Nimoo Bazgo Power Station is scheduled to take place from 26.05.2025 (10:00 Hrs) to 28.05.2025 (22:00 Hrs).
During the flushing operation, all gates of the Nimoo Bazgo Dam will be opened gradually to allow free flow of water. As a result, there will be a significant increase in water discharge downstream.
Public Safety Advisory:
All individuals residing or working near the downstream areas of the power station (i.e. Downstream of Indus River after Power Station) are strictly advised not to venture near the riverbanks or water bodies during the flushing period. This precaution is essential to prevent any untoward incidents due to sudden surges in water levels.DD
