Restrictions Relaxed For Two Hours As Situation Remains Peaceful In Doda

DODA, DD: District Administration relaxed restrictions for two hours in Doda District on Friday allowing the movement of the people, and the markets remained open, amid a peaceful atmosphere.
The Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Harvinder Singh took a review of the situation and visited the market area in the town, and met the people, and business community.


He informed the reporters that the authorities have relaxed restrictions from 4 PM to 6 PM, and the situation remained peaceful during these hours.
He expected that the business would resume and the traders would overcome the losses they suffered during these days.
He said that the roads blocked including Thathri would be thrown open. On a question of restoring internet services, he said that the administration restricted internet services to put a stop to the spread of fake news.
He said the situation is constantly being monitored and expressed gratitude to the people for their cooperation for maintaining peace.DD
