Kishtwar, DD: The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Tasleem wani Kishtwar has issued a show-cause notice to a local vehicle owner, Mubashar Hussain, for repeated violations of the Motor Vehicles Act. The vehicle, bearing registration number JK17-8999, had been e-challaned four times for various infractions and was recently found illegally parked near B.Ed College, where the owner allegedly misbehaved with officials.The notice states that Hussain has exhibited a pattern of non-compliance, prompting authorities to initiate the suspension of his Route Permit No. JK/17/CC/Taxi/2019/18. He has been given seven days to respond before final action is taken. The move follows a directive from the Supreme Court of India to suspend the permits of habitual offenders violating transport regulations.Authorities, including the Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar, Transport Commissioner of J&K, and the Dy. SP Traffic (Doda-Kishtwar Axis), have been informed of the case. This action is part of an ongoing effort to improve road safety and enforce transport laws in the region.DD
