Kishtwar ,TDD,The Rural Development Department (RDD), Kishtwar has issued a blacklist notice to non-serious contractors who emerged as the lowest bidders in the e-tendering process for district capex works. This action was taken on the directions of District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, R.K. Shavan.
The contractors in question had participated in the e-tendering process for various development works in the district. Despite being declared as the lowest bidders, they failed to deposit the requisite CDR, thereby delaying the execution of the works. The ACD Kishtwar, Phulail Singh, informed that these contractors were repeatedly informed through various communication channels to deposit the CDR, but they failed to comply.
The RDD Kishtwar has issued a blacklist notice to these contractors, giving them a final opportunity to submit the CDR. Failure to do so will result in their blacklisting by the competent authority. The department has also established a dedicated cell for tendering in the Executive Engineer REW Kishtwar office, which will deal with such matters.
The lackadaisical approach of these contractors may affect the developmental initiatives of the government. The RDD Kishtwar has exhorted these contractors to submit the CDR immediately, failing which further action will be taken meticulously.TDD
