Khaltse:DD, A one-day training programme on the SAANS (Social Awareness and Actions to Neutralize Pneumonia Successfully) initiative was successfully conducted today at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Khaltse.
The training was organised under the chairmanship of the Block Medical Officer (BMO), Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmad.
The training was organised to enhance the skills and knowledge of frontline health workers in the prevention, early identification, and effective management of childhood pneumonia.
The session was led by Dr. Spalchen Gonbo, Consultant Paediatrician, who served as the resource person.
Dr. Gonbo provided valuable insights into updated treatment protocols and case management strategies, along with hands-on demonstrations to tackle this critical child health issue.DD
