Nagrota : Sainik School Nagrota hosted its Alumni Meet 2025 with pride on 21 Dec 25, bringing together over 200 alumni (Ex-Nagrotians) along with their families, reaffirming the enduring bond between the institution and its alumni.
The alumni were welcomed by a well-coordinated cultural programme by the cadets. Highlights included a Welcome Song, a disciplined Hornpipe Dance, a musical performance by the School Band Decibels, and a Band Display marked by precision and synchronisation, showcasing the grooming and ceremonial ethos of Sainik School cadets.
A key highlight of the event was the inauguration of the renovated School Library, made possible through the generous contribution of the Siver Jubilee (1993–2000) alumni batch. The event also marked the inauguration of Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs) donated by the Kakini Foundation under its CSR initiative, reinforcing the school’s commitment to technology-enabled classroom learning.
The occasion further witnessed NEXAS (Sainik School Nagrota Ex-Students’ Association) supported felicitation of Class XII cadets and the award of prize money to meritorious cadets who excelled in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities at various levels.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, apprised the alumni of ongoing developmental projects and highlighted academic and sports achievements at regional and national levels, while expressing gratitude for the alumni’s continued guidance and support.
The gathering included serving and retired defence personnel, civil servants, and professionals from diverse fields, reflecting the institution’s legacy in nation building.
