Jammu: DD, A scrap dealer has allegedly been washed away in a flash-flood water in a Nallah near Telephone Exchange in Rajinder Nagar, Bantalab, last evening.
As per the media reports, the incessant rains had swelled the river bodies, and accordingly, Rajinder Nagar Nallah as also hit with the flash-flood.
However, a scrap dealer with his vehicle allegedly attempted to cross the river at 8 AM, last night, the reports claims, while asserting that the auto was recovered but the dealer namely Sham Lal could not be traced.
Till the filing of this report the police and rescue teams have continued their operation.DD
