Khaltse: DD, To review the preparedness for the upcoming 79th Independence Day celebrations, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd Sharif, chaired a coordination meeting with Heads of Departments (HODs) and concerned officials in his office chamber.
The meeting focused on assessing and finalizing arrangements to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the celebrations. Key aspects such as security measures, traffic regulation, sanitation, medical facilities, and cultural programs were discussed in detail.
Discussions also covered the organization of flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades, and cultural performances to honour the spirit of independence and pay tribute to the freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the nation.
The SDM directed all departments to complete necessary arrangements well in advance to ensure seamless execution of the event.
