REASI:DD, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Mahore, has warned of strict actions against those drivers, who dodge advisory from the government during the monsoon season.
“Strict action as warranted under rules shall be taken against drivers, who put their life, and lives of the passengers in risk while driving in heavy rain in-spite of government advisory. Landslides, and shooting stones are life threatening,” writes SDM Mahore on X.
The SDM further writes that “As already communicated, people are strictly advised to avoid travelling on RAM road, and BMG road in Mahore Sub Division during the rainy weather. Also avoid travelling in night hours as there are numerous sliding and shooting stones points in the region.”DD
