SDM Padder Conducts Series of Inspections to Assess Government Functionality

Kishtwar, DD, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Padder, Dr. Amit Kumar, conducted a series of inspections across various government institutions, including the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Atholi, the Garh Kukandran road, and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Atholi Padder. The inspections aimed to assess healthcare facilities, road restoration efforts, and the ongoing Class 12 board examinations.

Inspection at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Atholi

During his visit to SDH Atholi, Dr. Kumar evaluated the availability of essential medicines, infrastructure conditions, and the overall quality of patient care. He emphasized the importance of maintaining adequate stocks of medicines and ensuring that hospital infrastructure meets required standards to serve patients effectively.

The SDM also directed the hospital staff to prioritize cleanliness and ensure timely and updated treatment for all patients.

Assessment of Road Clearance Efforts

Accompanied by the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD), the SDM inspected the Garh Kukandran road, which had been blocked due to an avalanche following recent snowfall. The road closure caused significant inconvenience to residents and commuters.

Dr. Kumar instructed the PWD team to expedite the clearance process, doubling the deployment of machinery to restore connectivity at the earliest. He urged the public to remain patient and cautious while authorities work to reopen the road.

Supervision of Class 12 Board Examinations

The SDM also visited GHSS Atholi Padder to oversee the ongoing Class 12 physics examination. He instructed the school principal and examination supervisors to ensure a fair and transparent examination process, strictly prohibiting any form of malpractice.

Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of upholding the integrity of the examination process, ensuring that all students receive an equal opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.
