Leh, DD, Secretary of School, Technical Education and Higher Education Union Territory of Ladakh Bhanu Prabha (IAS), inaugurated a two-day workshop on “World of Work” conducted by the PARAKH, NCERT under the leadership of Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, CEO & Head, PARAKH.
The workshop is being conducted at PARAS Hall Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Leh on 25th and 26th March 2025. Around 150 Students from the standard IX, X and XII from Girls Gigher Secondary School, Leh and Boys Higher Secondary School, Leh are participating in the workshop.
This workshop aims to provide students an ability to explore diverse career options, engage in skill-building activities, and gain exposure to emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence. The workshop shall enable the students to opt for vocational/skill courses as per their interests.
Chief Education Officer, Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, Ms. Shalini S Sharma Asst. Secretary General PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Madhu Sudan PARAKH NCERT State Liaison Officer addressed the audience. Principal DIET Leh Mrs. Deldan Angmo and Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Leh Mr. Tsering Nurboo were also present during the inauguration.DD
