Mendhar, (DD)A major search operation is underway in the Bhatadhudia area of Mendhar subdivision in Poonch district after security forces detected suspicious movement during routine surveillance.
Acting swiftly on the input, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch, Shafqat Bhat, ordered a joint operation involving the local police and the Special Operations Group (SOG).
The operation is being led on the ground by Additional SP Mendhar, Mohan Sharma, and SP SOG Surankote, Sachin Gupta. Security personnel have sealed off the area and are conducting thorough combing operations in a bid to trace any suspects.
Authorities have not confirmed any contacts or recoveries so far. However, the search operation remains active, with heightened security measures in place(DD)
