Samba: DIG Jammu-Srinagar-Kathua Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma reviewed a high level security meet in the district with different security and intelligence agencies amid foggy season.
The meeting was chaired by DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma in which coordination between different security agencies was established by strengthening coordination, and synergy.
SSP Samba Varinder Singh Manhas gave a detailed presentation of the security scenario and ongoing search operations in Samba District.
Meanwhile, the DIG JSK directed all officers to work in coordination and remain vigilant in this ongoing foggy season.
He also directed the officers conduct public meetings, and made people aware about security. The DIG JKS also appealed to the public of border areas to give timely information to police about any suspicious persons and suspicious activity.
The officials from BSF officials, ITBP, DySP SOG, SDPO Bari Brahmna, SDPO Vijaypur, DySP HQ Samba, and all SHOs of Samba district attended the meeting.DD
