Several docs, other faculty, paramedical staff fled GMC Rajouri & Associated Hospital during war-like situation

RAJOURI: DD, Government Medical College and Associated Hospital Rajouri has confirmed that several doctors, paramedical staff members, technical and other staff members had fled Rajouri since May 7, 2025 war-like situation.
“It is hereby ordered that the salaries of all the staff members including faculty, consultants, senior residents, junior residents, staff nurses, paramedical staff, technical staff, ministerial staff, multi-tasking staff, interns, and others, who have fled from Rajouri and remained absence from their duties from May 07, 2025, during war like situation and who have not marked their biometric attendance, shall not be released in their favour,” reads an order issued by the GMC and Associated Hospital, Rajouri, Principal, Prof A.S. Bhatia.
It stated that the above period shall be treated as unauthorized absence, and appropriate entries shall be made in their service records, service books in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.DD
