Dubai: DD, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, the Grand Mufti of India, was honoured with the prestigious Grand Tolerance Award during the Grand Tolerance Conference, held as part of the Dubai Grand Milad Silver Jubilee at Hor Al Anz, Dubai. The award recognizes his tireless efforts to promote peace, coexistence, and harmony among communities.
Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad also addressed the conference, which brought together renowned delegates and visionaries who shared insights on tolerance, unity, and mutual respect, reflecting the UAE’s longstanding commitment to fostering global harmony.
The award was presented by Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi, Former Minister of Environment & Water, UAE, alongside other eminent dignitaries. Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad expressed his gratitude for the recognition and praised the UAE for its enduring vision of peace and cultural inclusivity.DD
