Jammu, April 22, 2025: President of Shia Federation Jammu Province, Ashiq Hussain Khan, has strongly condemned the barbaric and cowardly attack on innocent tourists and locals in Baisaran, Pahalgam. Expressing deep sorrow and anger, he termed the incident a heinous act of terrorism and a direct assault on the spirit of peace and hospitality that Kashmir has always stood for.
“This is not just an attack on individuals, but an attack on the soul of Kashmir and its age-old tradition of brotherhood and harmony,” he said.
Ashiq Hussain Khan called for unity among all communities to stand together and fight the forces of terror. He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain vigilant and not let such acts disrupt communal harmony.
He further urged both the State and Central Governments to take harsh and uncompromising action against the perpetrators, and stressed that no stone should be left unturned to bring the culprits to justice and teach
