Jammu:DD, Leaders of Shiv Sena UBT Jammu-Kashmir unit held a strong protest in Jammu today demanded the immediate arrest of Bollywood and social media influencer Orry and his associates who hurt religious faith by consuming alcohol in a hotel in the religious place of divine Shri Mata Vaishnodevi (where alcohol is completely banned), which is associated with the faith of crores of Hindus in the Holy city of Katra.
The Shiv Sainiks gathered under the leadership of the party’s state chief Manish Sahni protested strongly holding placards “Arrest Orry who insultedu religious faith”, “Implement liquor ban in Jammu”, “Religious faith of crores of Hindus hurt”. Sahni said that Orhan Avtramani alias Orry, during the pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishnodevi, along with his 8 companions, consumed alcohol in a hotel in the Holy city of Katra (where alcohol consumption is completely prohibited), thus insulting the religious faith of crores of Hindus. Sahni said that he has been continuously demanding the implementation of alcohol prohibition in Jammu and Kashmir, the Holy land of sages, saints and prophets. Even the city of temples, Jammu, has been turned into a city of liquor by opening liquor shops at many places. The incident of consumption of alcohol in a hotel in the Holy Divya Santhal of the holy city of Katra, where Shri Mata Vaishnodevi is worshipped, is an open challenge to the religious faith of Hindus. Sahni has demanded the immediate arrest of Orry, accused of consuming alcohol in Katra. Sahni has demanded that the Hindu organizations raising hue and cry over Aurangzeb should advocate strict legal action against the evil-doer Aurangzeb who insulted the religious faith by consuming alcohol at a Holy pilgrimage site like Shri Mata Vaishnodevi. Sahni has demanded that the Jammu and Kashmir Police should take strict legal action without any pressure.
