Srinagar, (DD): The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 is proceeding without any hindrance, with devotees continuing to pay obeisance at the Holy Cave Shrine of Baba Barfani through both Baltal and Pahalgam routes.

Refuting false information circulating on certain social media platforms suggesting a suspension of the Yatra, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir clarified that the pilgrimage is going on “seamlessly” and that “pilgrims are taking darshans of Baba Barfani without any interruption.”

As per official data, more than 2.34 lakh pilgrims had performed darshan at the Holy Cave by July 15. On July 16, fresh batches of yatris also proceeded smoothly from both routes, and darshan continues uninterrupted.

The administration has advised media outlets to verify facts from official sources before publishing or sharing any information regarding the Yatra. The general public has also been urged to rely exclusively on official channels for accurate and timely updates(DD)
