Leh,DD, The Silk Route Festival was inaugurated today by the Councillor of Tegar constituency, Shri Rigzen Lundup, in the presence of Shri Tashi Chostak, Naib Tehsildar Sumoor, and Rigzen Tsephail , Nambardar of Sumoor.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests.
The festival is organized by Samtan Otsal Tsogpa, Sumoor, and featured a vibrant cultural program performed by talented artists from Sumoor village, showcasing the rich heritage of the region.
One of the major highlights of the festival was the traditional archery competition, where 22 teams participated, displaying remarkable skill in both modern and traditional archery formats.
The closing ceremony of the Silk Route Festival will be held tomorrow on 29 june with cultural show including traditonal song and dance, band show,etc.DD
