Poonch:DD, Security forces today claimed to have busted a natural hideout of the terrorists, and recovered arms and ammunition.
Acting on the specific intelligence input, a joint search operation was launched by Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operation Group (SOG) Poonch Police in the forest area of Khaneter and adjoining areas.
During the search operation, the sources said, the security forces intercepted a suspected place, and during its checking, a warlike store was recovered.
The security forces have recovered six Chinese grenades, two pistols with magazines, 24 pistol rounds, 3 IEDs, 1 UBGL, and one watch.
A case in this regard has been registered, and further investigation has been initiated in this regard.DD
