Marwah, Kishtwar,DD; The Office of the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Marwah has issued a show cause notice to six teachers for being absent from their duties after the reopening of schools post-winter vacations.
During a surprise inspection by the SDM and Tehsildar Marwah, these teachers were found absent from their respective schools under Education Zone Marwah.
Accordingly, an inquiry was conducted and it revealed that they had not resumed duties despite the end of the winter break.
Terming their absence as “unauthorized and carelessness,” the administration has demanded an explanation within two days.
The notice warns that failure to respond may result in disciplinary action under the Civil Service Rules. Additionally, instructions have been issued to withhold their salaries until further notice.
The notice has been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, and Zonal Education Officer Marwah for necessary action.
This action reflects the administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards negligence in the education sector and aims to ensure accountability among government employees.DD
