Smooth and Peaceful Elections in Ramban

DEO Expresses Gratitude for Voter Participation, Records 70.57% Turnout

Ramban, TDD, The District Election Officer (DEO) of Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, expressed his gratitude to the voters of Ramban district for their enthusiastic participation in the Assembly Elections 2024.

Voters from both constituencies of the district—AC-54 Ramban and AC-55 Banihal—actively contributed to the festival of democracy by casting their votes.
The DEO informed that the election process across all 365 polling stations in the district was completed smoothly and peacefully. An overall 70.57% voter turnout was recorded in Ramban district, with 69.66% in AC-54 Ramban and 71.28% in AC-55 Banihal.


He further appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders, particularly the Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security agencies, for ensuring the successful and peaceful conduct of the elections under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Kulbir Singh.
The DEO also noted that no election-related grievances were reported on the polling day, highlighting the efficient management and coordination throughout the process.TDD
