Udhampur: TDD, A shocking incident unfolded in the Kiya panchayat of Ramnagar tehsil, Udhampur district, where a man brutally attacked his mother-in-law, wife, and sister-in-law with a sharp weapon. The attack occurred around 10:00 PM last night at the victim’s residence.
The brutal assault resulted in the tragic death of the mother-in-law on the spot. The wife and sister-in-law sustained severe injuries and were immediately rushed to Ramnagar for medical attention. Given the gravity of their condition, they were subsequently referred to Udhampur for advanced treatment.
Following the heinous act, the accused managed to flee the scene. However, swift action by the local authorities led to his arrest.
Police officially confirmed the arrest and stated that further investigations are underway to unravel the motive behind the attack.TDD
