Kargyam, DD, A Special Gram Sabha was successfully conducted today at Panchayat Ghar Kargyam in the presence of Councillor Chushul Constituency, Konchok Stanzin, along with Nambardar Kargyam, the Panchayat Secretary of RDD, and local villagers.
The primary objective of the Gram Sabha was to discuss key issues concerning Kargyam Panchayat ahead of the General Council pre-planning process. Recognizing the importance of community participation, the Gram Sabha served as a platform to gather public demands and align them with various government schemes.
During the session, deliberations were held on crucial topics, including:
• PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin)
• MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act)
• SBM (Swachh Bharat Mission)
• GIA (Grants-in-Aid) Plan
• VVP (Vibrant Village Programme) Execution
• Education-related concerns
• Sheep and Animal Husbandry Issues
• Self-Help Group (SHG) Initiatives
• Waste Collection Centres in Every village of Kargyam.
Additionally, the World Water Day was also observed, emphasizing the significance of water conservation and sustainable management of local water resources.
The Gram Sabha concluded with a commitment to addressing the highlighted issues through collaborative efforts and efficient implementation of government schemes.DD
