Srinagar, DD: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday inaugurated the Almond Blossom Festival at Badamwari Garden, marking the arrival of spring in Kashmir with a celebration of culture, music, and nature.
The festival, organized by the Tourism and Floriculture Departments, brought together dignitaries, artists, and a large number of visitors who gathered to witness the scenic beauty of the almond blossoms in full bloom.
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhury, NC Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Director of Tourism, and other prominent officials graced the occasion, highlighting the government’s commitment to promoting Kashmir’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
The event’s main attraction was a captivating musical performance featuring renowned Kashmiri artists, including Noor Mohammad, Aayan Sajad, Irfan Bilal, and Zaid Sikandar. Their soulful melodies enchanted the audience, adding to the festive spirit of the evening.
