Srinagar’s Tulip Garden Opens, Enchants Visitors with 1.5 Million Blooms

Srinagar, (DD): Asia’s largest Tulip Garden in Srinagar has officially opened to the public, unveiling a breathtaking display of 1.5 million tulips in full bloom. The highly anticipated Tulip Show 2025 was inaugurated by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, marking the vibrant arrival of spring in the Valley.

The CM toured different sections of the garden, admiring the stunning variety of tulips spread across the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, overlooking the Dal Lake. Visitors, both domestic and international, were captivated by the dazzling floral display, making the garden an instant hotspot for nature lovers and photographers.

Tourists Spellbound by Kashmir’s Floral Wonderland

Visitors from across the world have been left in awe by the sheer beauty of the tulip garden, with many calling it a “once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

“I have seen tulip fields in the Netherlands, but there’s something surreal about this place. The setting, with the mountains and the lake in the background, is beyond imagination,” said Emily Foster, a tourist from the UK.

“This is paradise on earth! I can’t stop taking pictures. Every step feels like walking through a painting,” expressed Rajat Sharma, a photographer from Mumbai.

“The fragrance of the tulips and the vibrant colours make this an unforgettable experience. I feel like I’m in a fairy tale,” shared Sophia Nguyen, a traveller from Vietnam.

“I came all the way from Bangalore to see this, and it’s worth every mile. Kashmir is truly magical in spring!” said Ananya Rao, a nature enthusiast.

“I had only seen pictures of this place before, but being here in person is something else. This is heaven on earth,” exclaimed Ahmed Al-Farsi, a tourist from Oman.

With the garden open for a limited time, officials expect a record-breaking influx of tourists, further boosting Kashmir’s tourism and economy. The mesmerising floral wonderland promises an unforgettable experience for all who visit.(DD)
