SSP Jammu Conducts Comprehensive Security Review, Addresses Police Personnel Welfare in R.S.Pura”

Jammu:TDD,Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu, Joginder Singh-JKPS, led a significant crime review meeting at Police Station R.S.Pura today, marking a crucial step in strengthening law enforcement efforts in the region. The meeting, attended by key police officials including SP Headquarters Jammu and SDPO R.S.Pura, began with congratulations to the force for ensuring incident-free assembly elections.

The comprehensive review focused on critical areas including NDPS Act violations, excise matters, bovine smuggling, and crimes against women and children. Detailed discussions centered on expediting ongoing investigations and implementing time-bound resolutions. The SSP emphasized the importance of adopting modern investigative techniques and standard operating practices to enhance the quality of case disposal.

In a significant directive, SSP Jammu instructed officers to strengthen surveillance mechanisms, including enhanced beat patrolling and maintaining detailed beat book records. Special attention was given to monitoring known offenders and maintaining up-to-date police records. The meeting also addressed the crucial aspect of community policing, emphasizing public participation in maintaining law and order.

Following the crime review, the SSP conducted a Darbar session and participated in a Bada Khana with jawans posted in Sub Division R.S.Pura. This gathering provided a platform for addressing the grievances of police personnel, with assurances of swift resolution. The SSP stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of integrity in public service delivery.

The meeting concluded with specific instructions for heightened vigilance, strengthened checkpoints, and improved intelligence gathering to counter anti-national elements. This comprehensive approach reflects the police department’s commitment to both effective law enforcement and personnel welfare in the region.TDD
