Asks police to keep proper records of migratory population

Kathua:DD, SSP Kathua, Mohita Sharma (IPS), along with DySP Hqrs Kathua, Ravinder Singh, and SHO PS Kathua, Inspector Sandeep Chib, conducted an extensive tour for area familiarization in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kathua.
The SSP visited various Nakas, i.e., Keerian Gandyal, Bhagthali, Kharkra, Goond, and Saidpur Naka, where she reviewed the security situation, interacted with personnel deployed there, and gave necessary directions to strengthen these nakas and to keep a close watch on OGWs, maintaining a proper record of the movement of the migratory population.
Thereafter, she also visited various areas, i.e. Nagri, Mahichak, Sakta Chak, Ghatti, Juthana, Barnoti, Budhi Barwal, Logate, Chak Drab Khan, Sheller Morh, and Kathua City for area familiarization and identified those areas that require special attention.
Furthermore, SSP Kathua reiterates that Kathua Police is committed to maintaining peace and security across the district and that there will be no leniency toward any anti-national elements.
At last, SSP Kathua, accompanied by DySP Hqrs Kathua, SHO PS Kathua, and IC PP Hatli, also conducted a PCPG meeting at Police Post Industrial Estates Kathua. The meeting was attended by PRIs, ex-sarpanches, social activists, and prominent citizens of the area.
During the meeting, various issues of public importance were raised. She patiently listened to the issues, redressed some of them on the spot, and further assured the people that their remaining genuine issues would be resolved on priority.DD
