Kishtwar, DD, The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar, Sh. Naresh Singh-JKPS, accompanied by Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) Kishtwar, Sh. Pardeep Singh-JKPS, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. SP) Headquarters, Dr. Ishan Gupta-JKPS, convened an introductory meeting with the media fraternity of District Kishtwar.
The meeting was held at the office chamber of the SSP Kishtwar, wherein a large number of media representatives associated with various print and electronic media platforms participated.
During the interaction, a threadbare discussion was held on various issues of mutual interest and importance of maintaining a strong, transparent, and cooperative relationship between the police and the media to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to the public.
While addressing the media fraternity, SSP Kishtwar assured that all the concerns and issues raised during the meeting would be addressed promptly and effectively. He also sought constructive feedback and suggestions from the media regarding policing and public service delivery mechanisms, aimed at improving efficiency and building greater trust among the people of the district.
SSP Kishtwar emphasized that the Kishtwar Police is committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety. He further stated that anyone found indulging in unlawful activities will be dealt with strictly as per the law to uphold peace, security, and public order in the district.
The meeting concluded with a note of mutual understanding and the commitment to continue working closely for the larger interest of the public.DD
