SSP Poonch Visits Mangnar, Reviews Security Arrangements for Minority Communities

Poonch, DD,Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch, Sh. Shafket Hussain JKPS, along with Chowki Incharge Jhullas, conducted a visit to the Mangnar area to assess the security arrangements and address concerns of the minority communities residing in the region.

During the visit, the SSP interacted with members of the minority community, including Village Defence Guards (VDG) members. The interaction aimed to foster trust and ensure that the security measures in place are robust and effective.

The SSP reviewed the functioning of VDG members and inspected various sensitive locations to evaluate preparedness and identify areas requiring further strengthening of security measures. He assured the community of the police department’s commitment to maintaining peace and harmony in the region.

The minority community members expressed satisfaction with the ongoing security efforts and appreciated the proactive approach of the district police. The SSP emphasized the importance of community participation in ensuring a safe and secure environment and encouraged residents to report any suspicious activities promptly.
