Poonch, TDD. Shafket Hussain (JKPS), Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch, conducted an extensive visit to Nagarkot village, located across the fence within the jurisdiction of PS Poonch. During this outreach, the SSP interacted with residents living at the zero point, fostering dialogue and addressing their concerns.
In his interaction, SSP assured the people of their welfare and security. He emphasized the availability of all possible help to address issues faced by the community, especially those unique to living in such a sensitive and remote area.
While engaging with the residents, the SSP issued a strong warning against the menace of drug abuse and any activities linked to terrorism. He reaffirmed the police department’s resolve to maintain peace and harmony in the region while urging the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
The residents of Nagarkot expressed their gratitude for the SSP’s visit and pledged their full cooperation in strengthening the law and order framework. They appreciated the proactive efforts of the police to address their concerns and ensure their safety.
