Udhampur :DD, In a significant move to curb drug trafficking in the District, Udhampur police successfully attached properties worth Rs.1.5 crore linked to notorious drug peddler Nadeem Sambyal of Chenani and Mohd. Hafiz of Jhullas, Poonch. These assets were acquired through the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
To acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the officers involved in this operation, SSP Udhampur, Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, felicitated the team that played a key role in the successful action, with cash reward and commendation certificates. The team, comprising SDPO Chenani Sheikh Tahir Amin, SHO Chenani Inspector Jaswinder Singh, PSI Ravinder, and IC PP Tikri PSI Manveer Singh, was praised for their tireless efforts in dismantling the drug network and seizing assets earned through illicit means
