Leh, DD, An inauguration ceremony for the Stock Assistant Training Institute of the Department of Sheep Husbandry Leh was held on May 3, 2025, in Leh.
The event was graced by Chief Guest, Hon’ble EC LAHDC Leh Shri Tashi Namgial, and Guests of Honor, Director of Sheep Husbandry Department Dr. Iftikhar Hussain and Director of Animal Husbandry Dr. Mohd Ismail. Also in attendance were DSHO Leh Dr. Tsewang Morup, AD Information Dr. Murtaza Ali, along with resource persons, officers, trainees, and staff members of the Sheep Husbandry Department Leh.
The program commenced with a welcome note delivered by DSHO Leh Dr. Tsewang Morup. Following this, addresses were given by Director of Animal Husbandry and Director of Sheep Husbandry.
Chief Guest, Hon’ble EC LAHDC Leh Shri Tashi Namgial, also addressed the gathering stating the importance of such training institutes.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Padma Yangzom, Technical Officer at DSHO Leh and Officer Incharge of the Training Institute Leh.
