Terrorism cannot defeat India.
Terrorism has no religion and such individuals have no place in the sacred religion of Islam.
We pledge our full support to the Indian government in its efforts to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the country.
India belongs to everyone. Each of us has a responsibility to protect the nation’s human resources, wealth, values and heritage. This gathering calls upon everyone to safeguard the unity and integrity of the country and to refrain from any activities that endanger them.
We strongly reject the so-called Islamic State terrorism, which operates under the false pretext of Islam and as self-proclaimed representatives of Muslims, spreading terror, anarchy and destruction of other religions. We stand firm in defending the nation and society from their evil deeds.
We recognize that terrorism, divisive and destructive activities and discrimination based on religion, caste, race or politics destabilize society.
As Muslims and as upstanding citizens of India, we are fully aware that spreading this great awareness to others is our foremost duty. This gathering declares that we will fulfill this responsibility completely.
