SUB‑INSPECTOR ATTACK CASE: Two Main Accused Arrested

Jammu: Police today claimed to have arrested two main accused persons who assaulted Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Police said that “Yesterday evening SI Nitin Khajuria, Investigating Officer of Police Station Bakshi Nagar was intercepted and attacked by a group of goons namely Rishab, Munna D, and two unidentified individuals at Gurrah Morh.”
The assailants attacked him with a tokka (sharp object weapon) and also brandished a pistol.
SI Nitin sustained injuries and was rushed to GMC Jammu for treatment.
Taking cognisance an FIR No. 158 of 2025 under relevant sections of law was registered at PS Bakshi Nagar and special teams were constituted to apprehend the accused persons.
Using technical and human intelligence,police teams traced the criminals to the Nikki Tawi area.
While on the run in the darkness in Tawi area Rishab and Munna D fell down and suffered injuries. Both were arrested & shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.


Further Investigation is ongoing and efforts to identify and apprehend the two remaining unknown suspects are going on.DD
