KATHUA: TDD,Security forces have launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Hiranagar’s village of Kathua, following the movement of some suspected persons.
The joint CASOs were jointly launched by the Indian Army, CRPF, J&K Police, and Special Operation Group (SOG), after locals reported that they have spotted three – four suspected persons in Prangoli village.
The security forces immediately rushed to the area, and they cordoned off the entire area and launched CASOs in Hiranagar. “The aerial surveillance has also been launched to assist the ground security forces to intercept any kind of suspected activity in Hiranagar,” said a police official. The searches were still in progress till the filing of this report.
Pertinently, two Pakistani terrorists were intercepted and killed by the security forces because of the alertness of the local population in Hiranagar several months back.TDD
