Khaltsi: DD, A special health awareness and outreach programme under the “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan” commenced today at Community Health Centre (CHC) Khaltsi. The camp, scheduled to run from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, aims to promote women’s health, family welfare, and community well-being through a series of medical services, awareness sessions, and counselling activities.
During the inauguration, health officials highlighted the importance of women’s health as the foundation of a healthy family and society. Medical officers, Doctors, ANMs, ASHAs, and other frontline workers actively participated in mobilising the community to ensure maximum outreach and participation.
The camp will cover a wide range of activities including screening for non-communicable diseases, anaemia detection, Hypertension and Diabetes, Cervical cancer, awareness drives on nutrition and hygiene. Special emphasis will also be given to adolescent health and preventive healthcare measures.
Local residents appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that such programmes would help in spreading awareness and improving access to healthcare in remote areas of the subdivision.
The campaign, in line with national health programmes, will continue at various PHCs of Khaltsi sub-division till 2nd October.DD
