Khaltse,DD: As scheduled, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmad, organized the second day of the “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan Camp” on September 18 at NTPHC Lingshed.
The camp offered a wide range of healthcare services, including general consultations, dental care, cataract screening, nutritional guidance, and screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and tuberculosis.
Awareness sessions were also conducted on menstrual hygiene and adolescent nutrition. The initiative aims to deliver comprehensive healthcare with special focus on pregnant women and adolescent girls.
A total of 84 beneficiaries from Lingshed and nearby villages, including school children, participated in the camp and availed themselves of medical services and counseling facilities.
Screenings for hypertension, diabetes, blood sugar, and blood pressure, along with antenatal check-ups, were also carried out.
The camp was successfully conducted with the support of a dedicated team of medical professionals, including Dr. Irfan-ul-Haq, Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon, and the paramedical staff of NTPHC Lingshed.DD
